Scholarship, Bursary & Grant Scheme for Future Leaders
Education remains one of the most powerful tools for breaking the cycle of poverty and creating confident future leaders.
We believe that every girl deserves the opportunity to learn, grow and build a better future regardless of her family's financial situation. Through our Scholarship, Bursary and Grant Scheme, we provide practical educational and financial support to girls and children who need it most.
Our Impact So Far
- Awarded ₦50,000 academic bursaries to 10 girls from different schools, reducing the financial burden on their families while helping them remain in school.
- Provided exercise books to over 300 pupils and students, ensuring they have essential learning materials needed to succeed academically.
- Donated new school uniforms to seven pupils at Uzoigwe Primary School, Asaba, restoring confidence and dignity while encouraging regular school attendance.
- Placed three children on long-term scholarships covering their education throughout primary school. For privacy and safeguarding reasons, their identities and photographs are not publicly shared.
Keep Her in School Initiative
Our Keep Her in School Initiative focuses on ensuring that girls remain in school by providing books, learning materials, school uniforms and other basic educational necessities.
Many girls discontinue their education because of simple, avoidable barriers. By removing these obstacles, we enable them to continue learning confidently, remain in school, and pursue the future they deserve.
Why It Matters
When a girl stays in school, she gains knowledge, confidence, leadership skills and opportunities that transform not only her own future but also that of her family and community.
Health & Wellness Seminars for Healthier Communities
Good health begins with the right knowledge, access to basic health resources, and the understanding needed to make healthy choices.
Through our Health & Wellness Seminars, we provide communities with practical health education and hygiene kits, while giving participants direct access to medical professionals.
Our Impact So Far
- Provided health education and hygiene support through seminars designed to help communities better understand everyday health and hygiene.
- Organised cervical and breast cancer awareness campaigns, helping to create greater awareness of these important health issues.
- Conducted medical outreach programmes to bring health support closer to the communities we serve.
Pad Bank Initiative
One initiative that readily comes to mind is our Pad Bank project, which took us to Learning Field International Secondary School on 6 February 2023.
During the visit, we distributed sanitary pads to students, providing essential hygiene support to the girls who received them.
Why It Matters
Through our health and hygiene efforts, we provide practical health education, essential hygiene support, cancer awareness and medical outreach, helping communities gain the knowledge and support they need for better health and well-being.
Giving Girls a Voice, Protecting Their Rights
We believe every girl deserves to grow up safe, respected and free from abuse, harmful practices and violence. Through advocacy, education and awareness, we help girls understand their rights and create safer communities.
Our Rights and Advocacy programmes create safe spaces where girls and young people can learn about their rights, speak openly about issues affecting them, and gain the confidence to stand against abuse and harmful practices.
Our Advocacy & Awareness Work
- International Girl Child Day is our annual flagship event, giving young women a platform to raise their voices, receive mentorship, learn advocacy skills, and become confident champions for their rights and future.
- Through our Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) Awareness Campaign, we visited Learning Field International School to educate students about FGM, its harmful effects, and the importance of protecting girls from harmful practices. The programme reached 180 students, who gained knowledge that they could also share with others.
- We also conduct awareness programmes addressing child abuse and domestic violence, helping young people and communities recognise abuse, understand its impact, and speak up against it.
Hidden Scars
On 6 February 2026, we took our advocacy beyond Nigeria through Hidden Scars in Cyprus. The programme was created to shine a light on the silent pain carried by survivors of domestic violence, child abuse and Female Genital Mutilation (FGM).
With 500 people in attendance, Hidden Scars gave visibility to experiences that are often hidden behind silence. It reminded us that surviving abuse does not mean the pain should remain unseen, and that survivors deserve to be heard, supported and treated with dignity.
Why It Matters
When girls understand their rights, they are better equipped to recognise abuse, speak up, seek help and make informed decisions about their lives. By creating awareness and challenging harmful practices, we can help build communities where every girl is safer, heard and empowered to shape her own future.
Mentoring Girls to Dream, Lead & Aim Higher
We believe that every girl deserves someone who will encourage her, believe in her potential, and help her see that she can become more than her circumstances suggest.
Our Mentorship and Leadership Initiative is designed to help girls discover their potential, build confidence, develop leadership qualities, and dream boldly about their future. We create opportunities for girls to learn, connect with positive role models, and understand that their voices and ambitions matter.
International Girl Child Day
Our International Girl Child Day programme is one of our key mentorship and leadership initiatives. It is more than a celebration; it is an opportunity to remind girls that they are valuable, capable, and worthy of pursuing their dreams.
Through mentorship, encouragement, leadership activities and meaningful conversations, we inspire girls to aim high, believe in themselves, and become confident young women who can positively influence their families, communities and society.
Our First Physical Event
- Our first International Girl Child Day physical event was held on 11 October 2025 at Uzoigwe Primary School Field, Asaba.
- The event brought together 360 students from 7 different schools, creating a shared space for girls to celebrate, learn, connect and be encouraged.
- The programme gave participating girls an opportunity to see themselves as future leaders and to understand that their dreams, voices and abilities have a place in the world.
Why It Matters
A girl who is encouraged to believe in herself today can become a confident leader tomorrow. Through mentorship and leadership development, we help girls recognise their worth, raise their expectations, and pursue their dreams with courage and purpose.
Equipping Girls with Skills for the Digital Economy
We believe that economic independence begins with opportunity. By giving girls practical digital skills, we help them build confidence, discover new opportunities, and prepare for a future in an increasingly digital world.
Our Economic Empowerment Initiative helps girls develop practical skills that can open doors to education, employment, freelancing and entrepreneurship. We focus on equipping girls with knowledge they can use to create opportunities for themselves rather than simply waiting for opportunities to come.
Building Digital Confidence
- Coding introduces girls to the world of technology and gives them foundational skills for participating in the digital economy.
- Digital Marketing helps girls understand how businesses, brands and organisations reach people and grow online.
- Online Entrepreneurship introduces girls to opportunities for building and growing businesses through digital platforms.
Closing the Digital Gender Gap
Technology is changing the way people learn, work, communicate and earn a living. Yet many girls still have limited access to digital knowledge and the opportunities that come with it.
By providing girls with relevant digital skills, we help them move from being passive users of technology to becoming confident creators, problem-solvers and future entrepreneurs.
